We always offer free second opinions. We pride ourselves on honesty, so if the original diagnosis is correct we will tell you. Some companies will give second opinions and disagree with the original diagnosis just to build your trust in them only to find the larger problem 6 to 12 months later. We will not do that, but problems are sometimes misdiagnosed. If this happens to you, we will find the correct problem and go over all your repair options.
We service all brands of residential central heating and air conditioning systems. If your unit is still under warranty with the manufacturer, we would be glad to process any warranty claim with them. In fact, if there’s any question whether or not a unit is still under warranty, we will check for you before we do any work.
We never charge for overtime! It will cost you the same on Sunday as it would to have the work done during business hours on a weekday. We also have straightforward pricing, which means the technician will diagnose the problem and go over all your repair options before he does the work. This way you are guaranteed no surprises when the work is complete.
All of our technicians go through a criminal background check before they are hired as well as a drug test and driving background check. These checks are also done periodically during their employment. In fact, only about 1 in 12 people make the cut. Our technicians are highly trained in all aspects of the HVAC industry and go through continued training periodically. In short, we wouldn’t have anyone in your home that we wouldn’t feel comfortable having in our own homes.
Regular seasonal maintenance on your heating and air conditioning system is very important for many reasons.
As your system runs it pulls dirt and dust through the evaporator and condenser coils. Every little bit of dirt causes the efficiency of your unit to drop. In fact, just 1/21 of an inch of dust can cause a loss of 20% in efficiency. Dirty coils will also cause many other components of your system to work harder (blower motor, condenser motor, and compressor) which will cause premature failure of these parts.
Most manufacturers will void the warranty of the equipment if a component fails due to lack of maintenance. In these cases, the manufacturer can ask for records of regular maintenance from a licensed HVAC company and if they are not provided then the warranty is void.
In many cases, a problem can be found early and save you a lot of money and inconvenience. Many times a small part fails long before larger more expensive parts do. If we find a part is failing it is brought to your attention before the system breaks down and causes other more expensive repairs.
